Uh oh. Sounds like you’ve got an algae problem. Due to the quick-growing nature of algae, a simple imbalance or lack of chlorine during hot weather can turn your pool a different shade overnight. The easiest (and cheapest way) to fix green water is calling our team. Be sure to stay out of the water until the algae has been taken care of.

It’s best to check your pool filter and cartridge every so often for any debris. You may also want to soak the cartridge in a specialised cleaner every few weeks or month, depending on how often it is used. Rainwater has varying alkaline and acidity levels, which can alter the balance of chemicals you have put in your pool to kill bacteria. As a result, your pool water may become cloudy.
